THE SUMI FILES
The Sumi Files are a series of flyers featuring my late cat, Sumi. A former stray from Alabama, Sumi Keo Marjolin was a domestic medium hair kitty based in Providence, RI. Inspired by her various shapes and poses, I often collaged iPhone photos of Sumi into compositions with hand-drawn type and doodles. The collages were printed on the Risograph and then circulated either at zine fests and craft fairs, hung up at local businesses or stapled to telephone poles around Providence.
